Peggy McKay was a terrific "Van". She takes a dishrag character and breathes freshness into it. As played by Bonnie Bartlett (the 2nd Van) she was a drip, just didn't have what it took to bring the role to life. The last "Van" was Audrey Peters and, while she was a good actress, she was to 'worldly' to bring the innocence that was such a part of the role of "Van". I thought both "Meg"s were wonderful in there own special ways.

If you wanna see REAL classic TV instead of that Queen for a Day nonsense, then watch this old time soap opera.

This is a good program, despite what Paris Hilton may say.
